Hi Jonas: I "recovered" it and because I like to share I will send you a picture. That is the only way you and most will see it since it was unrecognizeable as a bell and beyond the limits of most divers. Combine that with the fact that the wreck is in the middle of nowhere, the GPS numbers are a closely guarded secret by those that have them (I've been there 2x and don't have them) and it is rotting away as time passes and I figure I am doing a public service by showing the photos. The reality is that the next divers on the Rhine will most probably be the same group that has been diving it for the past few years since no one else is willing to make the effort or expend the funds necessary to make such a trip happen. Now, if you feel you possess the requisite skills to make such a trip and are willing to demonstrate the same in advance, I would be quite happy to accompany you on your first trip to the Rhine and serve as your personal guide. It is always a pleasure to share that which I have experienced and view it through the eyes of a new comer or neophyte. If you do not or cannnot, then I politely suggest that you quietly observe and enjoy that which we are willing to share since it would otherwise be unknown and unavailable to you.
