Cobb, by definition if one is believing Tom's slop, the "brain" these guys have been dealt is not top of the line, so maybe they need a wrist computer and a respirator so they can also remember to breathe. Dude, I have found out that contrary to popular opinion, Tom is not exactly recruiting instructors from Harvard Business School, and any instructor who is worth a shit will end up GUE if they can make the cut. -----Original Message----- From: Jim Cobb [mailto:cobber@ci*.co*] Sent: Thursday, May 24, 2001 4:57 PM To: Kevin Sumlar; Z; Tech Diver; Fltechdiver Subject: Re: Trimix Computers OK the difference in your scenario is more or less 10 mins of deco. What I would do is utilise my Standard Issue Mk1-A1 Brian and think about my deco plan and the various scenarios that I had worked out before the dive. Then, using the very same Mk1-A1 Brain, I would modify the deco schedule to get out of the water a little sooner than if I had hugged the bottom at 180 for the whole dive. In this case most of the time is knocked off the O2 with a minute here and there prior to that. This is not rocket science. Why is this so hard? Does this really require a $1900 device strapped to your wrist?
