Although I have been aware of them I have never used these plugs. I had a pretty good idea that a small volume of high pressure air behind the plug would not pose a problem but I wanted someone who had tried the device to confirm that. I have had damage to valves that could have been prevented by these plugs and I have also lost expensive gas when a valve got cracked open in transit.
