Skinny? In the american market? Have you looked around? I'm not surprised at all about their sizing, in fact it makes total sense. The local dive shop has modified a thinsulate for a woman who was too skinny for it. All he did was to sew the area and then cut off the excess. I watched him do it while they filled my tanks. It looked like any moron with a sewing machine could do it. I'd go to a different tailor, maybe one that knows about this material. Cheers.
