Subject: Re: Where to dive in the Antartica Peninsula
Hi Ligia,
If you are decided to go, I hope you may be able to find information as
well from the french expedition which was sponsored by the petrol
copmany ELF. Ship's name :Antartica, she is a sailing ship made
completely out of welded aluminium, with the only purpose to survive and
guaranty some confort in antartic waters.
There is a book covering this expeditin named Antartica. A painter was
with them and made this wonderful book.
Dr. Michaela Mayer from Germany now is in a position to assess the
applications for permits to go there and certify that a proper
environmental conduct is garanteed.

She warns outspokenly to be extremely cautious and abstain from diving
near icebergs, as these are totally unpredictable and may top over for
no obvious reason without warning.
