Nor do I Manos et al. ... as far as I know, the rule (in Europe) is to ___fully open___ any type of valve for operation. Valves which are not fully opened will sooner or later imply trouble (either as tank pressure drops or in any other of the situations described by Phi, Thomas, George, Matt and others in the forum). One of the main problem among _some_ US divers is that they attempt to find "a-better-way-to-everything" without understanding & following the protocoles of people/groups who really know the matter.
