Junior, there are plenty of firms that would be willing to sell you drysuit parts that would work with the typhoon, if it is the type of suit that i remember, a trilaminate, or bilaminate bag suit , right? contact mar-vel diving supply. they are located in NJ but they ship worldwide for the commercial dive industry and can be contacted through their web site, search for it on yahoo. I am sure they can sell you a suitable replacement boot via mail order. Do it yourself repairs on a dry suit is an art form, and not one i am really all that skilled in, so good luck installing them.. there is also a firm in minnesota , superior diving service whch repairs all types of suits, as does the dui factory repair center, you might prefer to have it done for you.. Having had a similar type suit before my dui i can tell you also that the dui suit is like the difference between wet and dry by comparison, but i have no clue about exchange rates and so forth. After spending a whole lot of money i can say this, its better to buy the best the first time, because you really cant put a price on satisfaction when it comes to dive gear. and not for nothing, if i got such a response from a dive company, i would not use their gear just on principle.
