Over on the HID list someone posted a comparison of the EE and dive rite lights. Apparently the Dive Rite are more yellowish, possibly due to a different ballast being used. Basically, even though it's also a 10W HID it's a different light from the EE. I have the EE 10 and the EE18. Both are very nice, and I would recommend them without hesitation. Side by side the 18 is about 30% to 50% stronger than the 10, but I like the low power consumptin of the 10. I haven't tried them next to halogen lights. I hope this helps a little.
