Aldo, many kinds of car paints out there...... I used Porsches 2 compound blue with success, as well as rugh excavators/ lorries antirust paint, some of my tanks have powder coating, of these some with zinc undercoating, others phosporic acid treated, then painted with a very elastic plastic ? matter, then powder coated. Time wil tell. I alway use a kind of fishnetstocking to protect the paint. Be careful with sandblasting. The German IWK/ Mannesmann, may be Heiser as well, have an flame sprayes Zinc layer. Do not blast this away, if the tank paint isn'rotten to the bone ( rust overall) Greetings from Rasmus ( baltic god of the winds, pretty busy these days) Matthias "Aldo P.
