Skip, Halcyon also includes a course in how to use them and that =
involves dives. Their intended market is their yacht customers. The guys =
who come to me already know scooters, like you said, or they would not =
be calling me or even know to call me, and those are usually referred by =
somebody else who has one.

Greg, the half truths are all yours.=20

If you want the whole truth; when you buy a Gavin from Halcyon they do =
make a profit on the sale. Just like you they have to earn a living and =
pay the rent every month. Also, they do add extras: charger, manual, =
shipping/storage case, spare prop blades, etc. and you get support from =
the dealer.

From George you get a scooter, period. You have to supply your own =
charger, rack, etc. since George assumes (and rightly so) that if you =
are buying a scooter directly from him you know what you are doing and =
can do the details on your own.

Get your facts straight before you post.

  At 06:40 AM 3/23/01 -0500, you wrote:

  HALF TRUTHS - George
Why does is cost 4800.00 for a Gavin Scooter from Halycon, And George
  charges 3500.00.
Just like you said george, because they sell extras.
The extra phone call to you and the extra shipping label to send it =
from
  them to the customer.

  That's effective marketing JJ.

  Greg Z.
