Shame your throwing in the towel so early, if you use an unemotional =
approach to this list there is much valued information to be gained.=20

The first advice I'd give to anyone starting out on this list is to =
lurk for a while and use the archives to get answers to basic questions =
such as recommended gear and DIR Configuration. Start out with GUE.com =
which has excellent section on gear configuration. Buy the DIR 2 tape =
from Halcyon.com which is great, once you've read watched all this =
you'll much better understand this list and it's contributors.

If your based somewhere like New Zealand as I am, with no one diving =
DIR, this list becomes an excellent tool for learning and improvement. =
So before you throw in the towel, if you seriously want to learn about =
technical diving and DIR, then use the list but remember who your =
dealing with and don't expect then to answer stupid or unresearched =
questions.
  Cheers
  Chas Sherman

ego problem. bye
