I agree that the standards for an instructor are low and I'd like to see = them raise too, but again the final outcome is really how the instructor = approaches the students and if they really care about them. And from a business stand what is wrong with getting people interested = in doing more diving (continuing education or Basket weaving as you = suggest)? For once if all the "I'm better than PADI" crowd was to get together and = create their own organization I'd give you a year before you all are = running away with your heads up your asses. If you think you can do something about it - then show us. I'm just wondering - do you teach? I'd love to sit in your class....
