You are increasing the possibilities of getting in a life threat situation. Thats why , you may have 10000 dives but they will be 10000 " you were lucky" dives. You may think it works until you find out that it wasn't. You are looking at the wrong direction which is " what if ..." the right direction is " what if and at the same time ......" A simple question is what will you do if you loose the line and the captain never spot you. Don't tell me that this will never happen !!! So you lost you O2, that means approximately that if you have 15m of deco on O2 it will become at least 40m on bottom mix add, a strong surface current and you end up surfacing in Egypt. I can come up with 20 more scenarios when i read your diving style. The Cave Guys are " lucky " they have less unpredictable exposures , no anchor lines to break , no currents . Manos.
