Robert,

I am not toying with you. It is not impossible for a boat to break away, but
I make it really hard. I use 3/4 nylon anchorline in good to excellent
condition. any section that is frayed, is removed. Once the line is two
seasons old I replace it with new. I have a mate chain us into the wreck so
we can't pull free. or have a grapnel slip out. We then tie in with a second
line incase the chain some how breaks free (never happened yet) . I have
never had the boat break free while I was in the water. But Of course I have
another Captain on board who can run the boat & come get me if need be. I
have seen many poor excuses for an anchorline or tie in job, that is usually
the reason a boat breaks free unintentionally. If I can't find the anchorline
( happened 3 times in 10 seasons) I have enough air to do deco with out O2.

As I stated before this is for MY diving conditions. I do not expect it to
apply every where, or for everyone. I have have had divers in my area try it
and it has worked for them, though most modify it by using a wing too.

You guys are always welcome to come to my boat & see it in action the boat
schedule will be posted soon at WWW.captainzero.com
