There's a huge difference. Go with the simple bulletproof Scouts. The Scout
is made with depth and reliability in mind. The case is bulletproof and it
puts the right voltage on the bulb. I have never brought back Scouts from
trips to the Yucatan - the guys down there beg me to sell them mine when I
leave.

I have a few SL4's etc that have leaked or stopped working. They also
overdrive the bulb, so it is more likely to fail when you need it. I would
have saved some money if I had known about the Scouts in the beginning.
