What's the consensus on small  alkaline b/up lights ?

I have looked at the Ikelite PC,the UK SL4 and have heard mention of an
Appollo 4C (but can't find it). I also had a weblook at the EE Scout.

If there's not much difference between them I'd prefer to get something
local (australia) rather than over the web.

Any raves, rants, alternatives or watchouts ?
