Re the reference I gave from memory last night. The publication is LIVING 
UNDERWATER by FAROOQ HUSSAIN SBN 289.70060.4 (hard) 289.70059.0 (soft) 
Published 1970 by Studio Vista Ltd. Contains a brief account of the only 
Human trial of liquid breathing that I am aware of.

The bibliography lists Dibelius, Dounoucous & Robb "Permselective 
membrane systems for underwater life support" G.E. Report, August 1965, 
Documenta Geigy Nautilus 1-7 J.R. Basle Switzerland.
