This is not a topic that I have seen discussed on techdiver and I am interested hearing how others deal with urination during deco stops. (I'm talking about drysuit diving; I figured out the solution in wet suits years ago :) I am now working on deep air, etc., and this *will* be a problem for me. My instructors were talking with a guy during their trimix training who said he used "Depends". That doesn't seem like the most elegant solution, but what the heck. I did talk to a quad friend of mine about using an external catheter and a bag. I tried that this week end but the results were inconclusive: the hose either popped off the bag due to pressure changes or it pulled out as I was swimming around. Fortunately, I wasn't down long enough to need to give the device a smoke test...it would have been a bit of a mess :). Anyway, I'm thinking ahead to this summer and the Doria dive. I *don't* want to be hanging at 20 or 10 feet and be miserable. Any ideas are welcome! (One of my instuctors is a woman, so she would appreciate any ideas that would help her, too!)
