Hi Manos, I've got a 'super big dive alert marker' for some time now, I love it! I use my drysuit inflator, same reason you came up with, one-hand release and attach from the drysuit and the lenght of the hose. Wing inflator hose for back-up. In combination with a spool, this is the dir approach. No reel, it's more likeley to stuck, so you'll lose the bag+reel. When you loose the spool, it'll come down right in front of your nose, because the line can't be trapped.
