Okay David,

Call it a mistaken choice of words, given I'm the last person to do with
religion :-)
As I explained to the others this morning off the list:

Folk,

I sometimes blabber with English, a second language :-) So sorry. All I
meant to say is that because it is new, and because it is forced to function
within a system but against it, it has the zeolots, the wrongdoers, the
wannabees and those who carry the message in ways that may differ than mine.
But that it is not wrong and having spent the last year dealing with people
at GUE, the last crumbs of doubt in my mind of the business element that I
had similar to those CaptJT  well expressed have disappeared. Nothing more.

As for Jim's query on "what the fuck" coup :-) it was really a metaphore
referring to series of a recent workshops we conducted here, on this side of
the pond, packed in a small room, people putting SS backplates and harnesses
together, in a dark corner of a dive shop ;-) modifying kit so it would
work. You will find that some non-American proponents of DIR start off small
and discreet because there are no fundamental GUE groups as such and the
feeling tends to be one of conducting something between an Anne Summers home
party ;-) or a small-scale student revolt. Again, nothing more. I wasn't
trying to be offensive or anything.

PS: and please, no, I have not been to an A.Summers home party either. I
just watched one on a BBC documentary :-)
