The first thing you need to do is talk to your gas supplier and ask them about there O2 and He supply. All the different grades O2 and He that is sold from my local vendor comes from the same supply. The only difference being is the amount of times they vac. a bottle before it is filled and whether they certify it or not (analyze contents for purity). I personally have my own 3500psi storage bottles that they fill as they would high purity but do not certify, which makes for cheaper fills. The benefit to having your own bottles filled and not swapping them out if your not buying high purity is knowing that there is no contaminants in the bottles. So the best thing I can recommend is talking to your local supplier and hope they are as willing as the company I deal with. I have heard you can use welding grade as long as the purity is good, and also what grade of helium should I buy?
