Bob You can improve these wings. Now I can't remember all of the details of = the specific wing, but look out for the following: * Quality of the outer bag * Quality of the bladder. * Length of convoluted hose (most are too long). * Pull dump on convoluted hose (this is a failure point and should be = replaced with a elbow connection to the bladder. * Toggles on the OPV. * Lack of protection of the bladder from the Zip. You will find that the Halcyon has all these issues corrected. BTW, I = have a Halcyon 55 lb. And DiveRite Original wing. Generally, I find = that you can adapt a piece of non-DIR kit to have many of the = characteristics of the DIR equivalent, but it never quite gets there and = I don't like the compromise. If you make changes, then do it as a = temporary measure until you can buy Halcyon and off-load your existing = wing, "sold on behalf of a friend".
