Just starting my cavern intro classes. Now I'm starting to scrap my old gear &
"Do It Right" Most of my diving is in temperate fresh water, 65 to 80 degF,
wearing a dive skin or 3 mil wetsuit. Carry 6 to 8 lbs of weight.
This time of year I wear the dreaded 7mil wetsuit. & carry 25 lbs of weight. I
use standard 80 aluminum tanks, (single) at this time.
My question is: Stainless steel or aluminum backplate & the 27 or 36 lb Halcyon
Pioneer Wing. Single tank for now until I get the doubles then will go for the
Explorer wing & SS plate.
