Pathetic man. An "n" instead of a "d" in the word "lodgepole?" Stop the
presses! Fire Jay Leno! You're KILLING me! Every public person assassinates
a word or phrase now and then. Gore is no different - and he says something
dumb from time-to-time as we all do - Bush on the other hand, well, he's th=
e
reincarnation of Dan Quayle, the acknowledged master. Sort of the new Dalai
Lama of dimwittedness except that Dan's not dead -- except from the neck up=
..

This doesn't even rise to the level of typo. Bush's tortured use of the
English language, on the other hand, and his obvious lack of understanding
of the world and even his own government puts him up there with the great
comedians of the television age who "misconscrewed" their words for comic
effect. Bush simply can't help it.

The rest, well, the rest is political dribble that we all went over during
the election. Boring, boring, boring!

I mean, he's a natural! No explanation, just read it and you get a laugh!

Bushisms (there's even a word for it!) are clear, concise one or two
sentences of tortured logic and grammar that stand on their own without
setup and without explanation. By the time I got to YOUR punchlines I was
nodded out on the keyboard with a little drool collected at the corner of m=
y
mouth. <g>
