What these last two "Reviews" of the "Last Dive" fail to remember is that the events take place in 1992 and before. In 1992, in the Northeast unless you mixed yourself or went to 2 or 3 shops around NY City or Philadelphia, YOU COULD NOT GET NITROX, YOU COULD NOT GET TRIMIX, and YOU COULD NOT GET TRAINING. Deep air was the rule because it was all there was. Only a very few had gone down to Key West to train with Billy Deans and when they got back they had to do every thing themselves. Oh, by the way there was no "Tech" gear and there were no "Tech" divers, we were just divers or wreck divers. If the events in the book were to take place today, I would agree with all that has been said but the book is on a small part of the history of how we got where we are today. It is not what should be done today. Pete Johnson -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
