Well Jeff, despite the reputation Dr. Black has developed as a result
of advocating dangerous practices, I think there is value in attempting
to make him think all of these practices through from a logical
perspective.  I realize that he is, or at least gives the impression
that he is, a particularly stubborn individual with regard to his
diving habits, but by ignoring his comments, what message are we
sending to the casual observer?  Given Dr. Black's inherent ability to
distribute (mis)information, and the weight that it carries with the
uninformed as a result of his medical doctorate, imagine the good he
could do if he became a source of good information for the rec.scuba
crowd.

Then again, maybe I just have way too much free time.
