Yes, and because he had had it with the bullshit. I talked to him a week ago
in Key West when JJ and I were at the Navy Base to make a presentation for
that conference. He is doing hyper baric medicine. That means he will no
longer be the "Organ Grinder Monkey", but the "Chamber Monkey". I hate
those chamber guys - they are all such officious weenies. Every time we wack
somebody I like to phone them up and ask if they can get my guy ready to
dive the next day - they go bullshit every time.

Apparently I need to clear something up. Michael Barnette accused me of
diving air on the Kendrick nine years ago ( before he knew what a regulator
was).
What Barnett and the other big time talkers forget is that the WKPP was
a gas diving outfit then and in fact they started diving gas in the mid
1980's, when Bill Gavin did the world record swimthrough and Bill Hamilton
made the gas tables. Also, Parker Turner barged gas to the Bahamas in the
80's with Mike Madden to dive some of the deep blue holes there. Here we
dove gas from then on.
The other fact of life is that this stroke Barnette was part of the
Monitor bullshit that Tysall's been milking where they were all diving air,
and Barnette is very proud of himself since he claims that in the year 2000
they graduated to gas on the Monitor, yet he wants to start bullshit with
me.
I am real sick of strokes. No, I never dove air on the Kendrick. Ask
Billy Deans. Funny ,when Deans was in the business he would get me down
there to learn from me about what we were finding out and how we were doing
things and share ideas, now I have to listen to porky the stroke tell me how
the cow ate the cabbage. Give me a break.
