No. You are being dense, if you'll pardon me being so blunt. Let me make it really clear: Cycle cell anemia is when your cells cycle. Sickle cell anemia is when your cells "sickle". Do you get it now? It's not a typo. It's a simple mistake, like using "hear" for "here" or "two" for "to". Just replace Cycle with Sickle in George's email and it isn't any more difficult to understand than some of his other emails. Maybe he should have said "Sickle cell anemia is when your cells take on a sickle shape", but it's typical of his emails to be hasty and poorly worded (sorry George). This does not mean "he makes stuff up", nor that he's wrong. I think he's pretty much right on, abrasive as he might be. Can we lay this to rest now?
