Jerry is one of my regular dive buds, and a good freind. Jerry is very
active locally, in the political arena (diving only!) as well.

Understood. I wasnt accusing you, just stating fact. These links are, to me,
simply more illustrative of the *problem* than suggesting a solution.

So, basically, they talk a smooth line, but there is nothing at the end of
the talk. Its exactly this type of double talk and bullshit that is driving
people with knowledge straight away.

I am sure. However, when are we going to quit allowing the Bar Association
and Insurance companies
to define our diving for us? Also, I cant imagine why "they" cant see the
adoption of HOTx as a benefit for safety and liability.

It has been my experience, when raising these issues, that the people in the
business of selling full boat trimix training start preaching doom and
death. I am very pleased that you didn't get pissed, and to learn that we
are basically on the same page. The only way the agencies are going to
change is if we start telling them, with our wallets, what we want to buy.
And, what we are no longer willing to accept.
