Mike,

I only get my email at night when I am on the road. I do not know why you
got so many copies of my email. I really thought that this trip was a tech
diving trip. I can go to Cozumel any time I want to see beautiful things.
I want the technical diving, it sounds like this trip has evolved into just
another recreational dive trip and not worth traveling halfway around the
world to have my diving limited. Odyssey is calling the shots here, and as
far as I am concerned, they will be working for me. It sounds like they
don't want to work for their clients or me, they want to do what is easy for
them. I don't deal with jerks like that, ever. I will wait and do Truk
when I am with divers who want to do the greater exploration with the proper
equipment and gas.

P.S. Fred put you in this position not me. You need to follow your
knowledge and quit being such a weenie about speaking the truth about what
you know to be true. You know that Odyssey's position is convenient for
them and dangerous. Find another shop to work for, you do have talent.
With the right crossover training, you could work for GUE.

Ok. I don't think, though, you speak for the group. I spoke with the guy
at length about this yeaterday, and he still sticks to his guns saying it
is not feasible, given the logistics. He also told me that they could not
get Diet cola, BTW. One other thing he told me was that there are only 2
dives which Helium would apply to, and they run the skiff over to these
sites only if the have someone who is willing to dive them. With the
exception of these 2 dives, he says, there is not a need to dive deeper
than 130. In fact, he says, a person a few weeks ago did not *want* to
dive below 100 feet....this person only missed out one 1 dive. That is
what he says. I'm sorry you are not going, Don. I think you will be
missing out on some real good diving. Again, before you go blasting me
again, this is what I was told. Nothing more.
