Here it is: A double D-ring fastener consists of two D-rings sewn onto the end of a piece of strap (usually about 1" webbing). The D-rings are placed together over the end of the webbing and the bebbing is folded over and sewn together. To fasten a strap to the D-rings you run the end of the strap through the center of both rings and then over one and under the other. If you want a quick release, you double back through the last ring. In the sixties, scuba harnesses with this type of fastener at the waist and both shoulders were common.
