Dale, why use something that will not work in all situations? Part of DIR is that you can progress to the next level without changing gear. Tell me what happens when a quick disconnect cracks and your rig is riding up on you the whole dive and slopping all over you ? Dale, quick releases are bullshit . Only an idiot like Mouth would use them. There is no way a quick disconnect makes it "easier " to get in and out of a rig - the crotch strap is not an issue getting a rig on or off IF THE THING IS RIGGED PROPERLY TO START WITH. Try doing that. The same goes for the deco bottles - use the correct bottles and rig them properly. Funny how many bottles we can carry and how much trouble you have with two little deco bottles . Maybe you need to look again. The right side bottle is a clusterfuck .It interferes with everything, not just the scooter, and again, why use a system that has to be changed when you go further or add more gear ? It is BULLSHIT, Dale. Do it right from the start and quit making up excuses. -----Original Message----- From: CaptnDale@ao*.co* <CaptnDale@ao*.co*> To: trey@ne*.co* <trey@ne*.co*> Cc: gremlin@ic*.co*.za* <gremlin@ic*.co*.za*>; techdiver@aquanaut.com <techdiver@aquanaut.com> Date: Monday, September 11, 2000 9:59 PM Subject: Re: Tech/Hogathian/DIR diving in chicago area >In a message dated 9/11/00 7:26:37 PM Central Daylight Time, trey@ne*.co* >writes: ><< Dale, just for laughs, maybe you could tell us the > part that is not DIR and the logic? >> > >George, > >My rig is primarily what you have promoted in your posts and your video.
