Incorrect! Palmer died on a deep air dive prior to a TDI conference diving
with impressionable students.The day after his death, one of his buddies
dived past 80m on air!!!!! Palmer was trying to impress the "hard men" of
TDI, after hearing about these "impressive" deep air dives that the "hard
man" was up to.
