I had considered that and discounted it as follows:

1.	The only regulator that is guaranteed to be safe to breath is the one
in my mouth.  Because it is in my mouth, my buddy should be able to find it
by touch alone.

2.	The backup should definitely *not* be seen as this is mine, and I do
not want anyone to take this from me.

3.	The stage regulators, may not be breathable since these are deco
stages taken beyond the MOD (as the majority of my diving is in salt).  If
they are breathable, then the best one to breath is in my mouth.

4.	In the case of cave diving, I don't really see much benefit in having
a second stage stand out since the stage itself should be a hi-vis colour and
the second stage easy to locate as the cylinder is on the line and quick to
find the second stage in an emergency.

5.	So, really the only argument for a yellow second stage would the be
primary regulator, but since it's in my mouth and easy to locate, then why
bother - common black regulators allow for interchangeability.
