Yes this can be a major advantage to the ring system.  Being able to replace
the off the shelf
glove on the ring system with a $4.00 chemical glove is a real bonus.  These
can be replaced in
the field in 5 minutes. With the zerbra mussels we have everywhere here you
tend to wear out
gloves quite quickly.

Of course the disadvantage is that you need to install the rings which can mean
$$$.
