I have to tell you guys that when I had my problem with the scooter and I realized it was time to go, I went and the scooter stayed. $1300 down the tubes, now I have no scooter. And you know, I don't regret a thing. I can't believe that there is discussion about $800 or $8000 when it comes down to a life or death situation. If it comes down to having to ditch your light, guess what boys, it's a life or death situation. Who cares about a fucking light. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. The goal should be to do all you can do to keep avoid getting it the life or death situation in the first place. And you do that by proper planning and gear configuration. And in my book this means no weight belt with drysuit.
