>And Capt JT, thanks for revealing yet another DIR death (Rob Wolvo). >I won't ask for details, because techdiver doesn't lend itself to >factual information, but keep up the good work (slobitis, Rob Wolvo, >got any more?). Black, you really are an idiot. Robb Wolov died on a solo dive a few years ago. He was on vacation, diving off a boat with a friend, he'd just come up and removed his gear, and his prescription lens mask was somehow knocked overboard, in (as I recall) about 90 fsw. He borrowed a mask and went down, solo, with something like 700 psi in his tank. He thought it would be enough for a quick bounce to recover the mask. Something went wrong. When he did not return, a search was organized, and the body quickly found. I do not recall whether they found any gas in his tank when he was recovered. What possessed him to make that particular decision will never be known. Robb was a Navy flight surgeon. He contributed considerable valuable information to this list, unlike you, who contribute nothing of any value, except possibly an outstanding reference example of how NOT to do it. I still remember the sick feeling I got in my gut when I heard the news. It still hasn't gone away. And here you are, absolutely gleeful that a diver, and a brother physician, died.
