I would recommend the SUUNTO Vyper. It's low profile, based on an RGBM algoritm, nitrox ready and you can replace the battery yourself. If you're serious about diving, and perhaps later stary into the world of techdiving, you'll want to go back to those "stupid tables", you'll make your own on the PC, and your computer might start to beep and make all sorts of annoying sounds as you surface before IT is finished with it's deco. At that point in time, you'll want to get a bottomtimer; Guess what? Your Vyper will serve this purpose aswell, and it'll work to a depth of 150 meters, and you can still download the profile into your PC. If you want to save yourself some money, I'd consider the Vyper if I were you. -- Oystein -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
