So you're saying he had a lot on experience with building his own
rebreathers and utilizing mixed gas and this was just foolhardy on his part
or a big mistake. Just because someone experiments with something that
others have done, doesn't make it known to them. Or maybe you think the
evolution of rebreathers has reached its apex and will now start to decline
in favor of a newer technology......

On this planet, we theorize and layout potentials until doing it on a board
is no longer useful. We then proceed to put the theories into practice by
building that which we have theorized to see if will actually work the way
we think it will. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't....welcome to
the human race.

I didn't miss anything in her post. It's always saddening to lose someone
in this sport, no matter what the circumstances.

Chris

you must really put " coke allert" on posts like this. it is so stupid that
I
snorted soda up my nose, thank god I didn't get any on my computer.

what part of what Ron was doing was groundbreaking or "unknown"?

did you miss the meaning in his wifes post ?
did you miss the sorrow, helplesness? and yes anger, in her post?

did you miss the posts by others, the week before??????

I will close with a quote from you-
"The losses are indeed high and heartfelt and hopefully
people will learn from the mistakes."

enjoy your life
