I must say, that after trying this in the ocean and making a huge mess of the process, I'm less than enthusiastic about this design. Unless you have a third LP hose, you need to either use the one on your drysuit or the one from your wings. The one from the wings is the better one to use, since you can still use the drysuit for bouyancy if needed and you won't get squeezed by an inability to add air to your suit. The nightmare scenario is that you use your drysuit inflator, sink down, get squeezed, can't get enough mobility to replace the connector....not a good situation. Remember that this is towards the end of your dive and you don't have a lot of air in your suit at this point, if you're properly weighted and diving a single tank. The problem with using the wings inflator hose is that it isn't all that easy to unclip, nor to replace. Sure, it's doable, but it's a heck of a lot more task loading than popping a regulator back in your mouth. Also, I seem to not have enough hands to deal with a spool, a bag, keeping everything straight and two more hands to replace the wings inflator hose. If anyone has a good method for doing this (or has decided that the Halcyon bag sucks dogbreath), I'd like to hear about it.
