Wake up , Jim your smarter than this, everyone one of those boat owners and Capt. hate divers. There so picky when your on the boat for just a fishing trip they don't even let the customer set the hook on a fish, the mate hands the rod to the fisherman who is in the chair. That's why I consider all IGFA records false when caught on a charter boat, but they always have a bullshit story how the guy ask to set the hook before the trip so the boat can get credit for catching the record, which means more charters in the long run. Have you ever even been on one of those chartered fishing trips, they're real touchy about the dam boat. If they were to take you ONE time it would be the last time, divers have too much shit to bring with them and they get wet to, they will not want your sticky ass in the cabin after a dive, only the slow rundown fishing boats that do not get the fishing trips will run dive trips, then your back to square one. I'll go down to those boats with you Jim and see what they say, also divide the cost of 1000 here for the boat between 6 max divers, take in their day starts at 6am and want to be back at the dock at around 5pm . I like hassle free diving myself, I like to have the boat rigged for it and experienced for it. At 05:42 PM 8/13/00 -0400, Jim Cobb wrote: >You may be onto something here, 35kt sure sounds sweet.
