The problem is that the attitude of a lot of the DIR people stinks so 
bad that most people would rather kill themselves than face the 
smell.  I try to pick my way through all the posturing and macho 
bullshit, because I recognize a good idea when I see it.  However, if 
saving lives and educating divers is the main objective, a change of 
attitude is imperative.

Flame away, I couldn't care less.
