According to Uwatec (I have a friend who lives down the street from their factory in Switzerland), the digital bottom timers are programed with the same variable ascent rates as the Aladin computers. The Aladin ascent rates (from the old Uwatec website) are: depth [m]: <6 <12 <18 <23 <27 <31 <35 <39 <44 <50 >50 speed 7 8 9 10 11 13 15 17 18 19 20 [m/min]: =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 = =A0 =A0 =A0 depth [ft]: <20 <40 <60 <75 <88 <101 <115 <128 <144 <164 >164 speed 23 26 30 33 36 43 49 56 59 62 66 [ft/min]: Best - Bill Wolk On8/5/00 1:38 AM, Sean T.
