All for one thing, you can only have max 4% Oxygen in the mix or it will be too explosive and might self combust. With only 4% O2 it will make it a very deep mix and probably out of most divers' alternatives for mixes. Now I was wondering if you could use some other gas to raise the oxygen percentage in the mix without making it totaly unsafe to handle and use. I'm not the best when it comes to chemistry but can't you somehow bind the H2 molecules with another gas? If anyone have a clue please tell me! All or most such gases are explosive and/or poisonous or anaesthetic. Forget them. Likely the diver and his blowtorch could run off the same cylinders!
