The Dacor Extreem, on the other hand, is one of the worst designs I have ever seen for cold water. It is designed to automatically INCREASE INTERMEDIATE PRESSURE WITH DEPTH. That causes a slight freeflow and often results in a freeze up. As for what Mike Zee allows - I dove with him on his boat last year and used my usual rig which includes two Scubapro MK14's for my primaries and Scubapro MK2's for my stages. BTW, I have never been able to make my Scubapro MK14's freeflow or ice up, nor have I ever seen anyone else freeze one of these regulators.
