MJB,

Get a clue.

You have contributed nothing to technical diving on this list. You have
filled the archives with your drivel, grammer and spelling checks, but nothing
that
counts.

I am not a cave diver (not many caves here in So Cal) but I do technical dives.
I have read the course material offered by TDI, IANTD, and ANDI. None of these
even come close to measuring up to ANYTHING that George has graciously
published via email (if it is email, it is in writing). While I disagree
with the method that George uses to disseminate the information, the value
of the information FAR outweighs any of those bruised feelings. Death does not
care about feelings.

Tyr reading with an open mind and apply the techniques that George, JJ, Jim, and
Dan have offered. Since you do not dive with tri-mix you can only play with
yourself
on the validity of the techniques. Based on your own descriptions of your
techinques
you are an accident waiting to happen and attempting to offer advice without
the
slightest clue as to the ramifications of that advice.

I am in no way connected with any of the diving that the WKPP does except LEARN
from
good information. While I have met George once and exchanged a few emails one
thing
has been very clear; ask a legitimate question and you get an answer. If you
want
to be a smartass, you get what you would get from anyone else. George is not
pissing off the
people that are learning, just the ones that can't.

Like it or not, the techniques that George (and others) has offered (when they
are
under no obligation to do so) are right on the mark. They work. Period. This
was not
"do it my way without thinking" but think about what was offered and APPLY it
(not just swallow it) to the diving at hand. This has resulted in my diving
becoming
very easy and routine on dives that have others bobbing around in a sweat (that
includes
you, as your 40% "bailout" would do you no good on my dives).

Go back to rec.scuba and flash your MD where it might impress someone there. A
title
means nothing here as the "respect" you are looking for has to be earned with
intelligent thought and practical information (and we all know where you stand
there)

Steve
