Hello,
I'm new to this newsgroup, and as suggested by the subscibtion reply , I'll
post my background and main interests.
background : PADI Instructor
dives in Belgium/Netherlands ( cold, low visibility)
Medditeranean
Red Sea
-- some cave dives, but nothing exceptional
intersts :
Cave diving : I'd like to learn more about it and find some buddies or
a club specialised in cave diving.In our local PADI club, I can't find
anyone to go beyond the most basic caves.
Does anyone know of a club in Belgium/France/Netherlands?
Dive tables and computers:
currently I am gathering enough information to develop a dive simulator
that will show the loading of tissues and the off-gassing for different
kinds of decompression models.It is meant to be used for ( advanced)
training purposes as well as for dive planning.
Ideally, I would like to include mixed gass diving , but for this I
still need some info.
Does anyone have information about mixed gass decompression models
or references to literature on the subject?
For the rest, I'm interested in all kinds of technical diving subjects.
Is there a list of (good) books ? Does anyone have any suggestions ?
Personally I rather liked Lippman's 'Deeper in to Diving'
for it's comparison between different dive tables and models.
However, I'll need even more details about some of these models.
