Gang,

MHK is coming up to do a DIR demo in Hood Canal on Saturday, July 1.
We will have 8 to 10 sets of DIR gear available for people to dive after the
presentation.

In addition, Andrew Georgitsis, GUE instructor and proprietor of 5th
Dimension, http://www.fifthd.com/, will be joining us for the festivities,
and doing a presentation on his dive on the Britannic. I have seen the
presentation twice now, and cant wait to see it again. Andrew is fully able
to transport your mind to the bottom of the Aegean sea, and visit the
historic wreck. this is an outstanding opportunity to see the gear, dive it,
and see how it was used by Andrew and the other GUE divers to pull off what
is really a *monster* of a wreck dive.

Also, Rick bats and the Bat Boat will be on hand to provide boat dives to
those who desire, for $35 a slot, room for 8 divers. he will do one run
Saturday morning, leaving the dock at 08:00, another run Saturday afternoon,
leaving the dock at 16:00, and another run Sunday afternoon.

For those that don't know him or the boat, Rick and the Bat Boat have been
one of the best dive ops here on the canal for several years. Primo diving.
Primo boat, and Rick is one of the nicest men God ever blew the breath of
life into (he is taking our visiting dignitaries out for a night dive
Saturday night, and early Sunday morning, sorry, this one is booked).

noon,
