Well Im glad I posted for info on Viking Pro suits. It was good to read some interesting exchanges among you. Personally I dive dry. I dive in the Atlantic mostly off the Jersey coast with a bit od Rhode Island and North Carolina mixed in. I dont own but rent a Viking Sport suit. Its easy to get on and off and is comfortable under water. The only thing that I worry about is the valve. I know the pro valves are supposed to be quite a bit better. I dont think I could recomend it if you were doing alot of penetration where you could snag on something. I only do mild penetration for this reason. I plan on getting into doubles next year and will also make a dry suit purchase in Jan or Feb of 94. I hear the pros and cons of viking and dui divers all the time. I did hear the prices of DUI went up 6% in september and they were already expensive. I could get a pro for at least $400 less. My shop carries Viking so obviously the pressure tends toward viking. In terms of getting them sent away for repair I dont think the turn-around was more than two weeks. (could be wrong) Has anyone owned both and switched from one too the other for a specific reason/s ? Thanks again. Chris
