Oh the lucky diver below me, should I feel the need to drop my light. (hey, after losing the scooter, what the fuck's a light?) I have to tell you pelican enthusiasts that the dive I fired up my 50watt light was the dive that I cursed all the previous dives I wasted groping around with my stupid 14 watt dimbulb. I had fun going back to all the in shore wrecks just to see what they really looked like. Spectacular hallmarks in my diving career (in order): Going from pony to doubles. Getting rid of the weightbelt. Getting a drysuit. Getting rid of the stuporwings. Getting a canister light. Utilizing staged deco and doing a working 1.2 PP02 limit. Getting a scooter (boooo hoo hoo). Each one of these events doubled or tripled my joy of diving and I regret all the dives I did without.
